Still in production, the Britten-Norman Islander is a light utility aircraft and regional airliner and one of the best-selling commercial airplanes produced in Europe. The Islander aircraft model has been in production now for more than 50 years. The Britten-Norman Trislander, no longer in production, is a semi-newer iteration of the Islander with a larger carrying capacity.
